The 2020 Panama Maritime Annual Conference, entitled “Navigating towards the Future in Digitalization with Sustainability” was held on November 24 and 25.
On August 1 and 2, 2018, the Annual Maritime Conference was held at the Sheraton Panama hotel.
In this second CAM version, for two days leaders from different sectors of the country met in one place: businessmen, government authorities, national and international exhibitors.
Among the objectives of this CAM version, was the ideas exchange that help analyze the new projects execution and development limitations, define the maritime market options, among other topics.
The First Annual Panama Maritime Conference CAM PANAMÁ, entitled “The Next 100 Years”, was held from September 27 to 29, 2017, as a prelude to 100 years of Panama’s ship registration, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel.
The opening keynote conference was given by the Vice President and Chancellor of the Republic of Panama, S.E. Isabel De Saint Malo, who presented the strategies and benefits of the new China-Panama relations for the Maritime and Logistics sector, which represents close to the 33% of the national GDP.
The conference integrated for the first time the business axes that have the greatest impact on the maritime industry of our country, under the vision of worldwide recognized expert speakers, both national and international, resulting in a comparative evaluation between what we have as a brand country currently in this sector and where we are heading. The event was attended by ministers, diplomats, and authorities, as well as representatives of guilds and other recognized and influential personalities in this sector.
