To strengthen the Chamber through an appropriate public image that allows it to have the credibility and influence needed to guide actions in line with the needs of the industry.
This communication work is aimed internally at identifying the needs of our members and externally at seeking the necessary balance for the industry’s development.
Vision
The Maritime Chamber of Panama is the representative guild of the Maritime, Logistics, and Port Industry of the Republic of Panama. We achieve this through proactive actions that involve member private companies and the Panamanian Government in the ongoing pursuit of growth in this sector of the economy.
As a non-profit organization promoting education, we direct our resources toward improving the quality of human capital in the Maritime, Logistics, and Port Industry.

Administrative Bodies
General Assembly
The General Assembly includes both the founding members and regular members. The General Assembly is the highest authority and meets ordinarily at least once a year or whenever necessary. It is convened by the Chamber’s Secretariat. The Assembly is headed by the President or one of the two Vice Presidents, and if none are available, by the Secretary or any of the Directors.
Board of Directors
The Maritime Chamber of Panama is led by a Board of Directors made up of nine (9) members. The Board meets at least once a month to ensure that all plans, projects, and programs are being followed and successfully completed. The Board will hold extraordinary meetings when important matters involving the well-being of the membership arise.
Board of Past Presidents
All former Presidents of the Chamber meet as a group to advise the Board of Directors on industry-related matters and to mediate issues that arise within the membership.
