To strengthen the Chamber through an appropriate public image allowing it to have the credibility and strength that makes it possible to focus actions according to the industry´s needs.
This communication work is internally focused to identify the members needs and externally to seek the necessary balance for the development of the industry.
The Maritime Chamber of Panama is the benchmark of the Maritime, Logistics, and Port Industry of the Republic of Panama, achieving it through proactive actions that involve member private companies and the Panamanian State in a constant search for the growth of this economy sector.
As a non-profit organization for education, it directs its resources to improve the quality of human resources in the Maritime, Logistics, and Port Industry.

The General Assembly incorporates the founding members as well as the regular members. The General Assembly is the highest authority and meets ordinarily at least once a year, or when necessary. It will be called by the Secretary of the Chamber. The General Assembly will meet under the direction of the President or either of the two Vice Presidents and when they are not available, it will be chaired by the Secretary or any of the Directors.
Board of Directors:
The Panama Maritime Chamber is directed by a Board of Directors of nine (9) members. The Board meets at least once a month to ensure that all plans, projects, and programs are followed and completed successfully. The Board will hold extraordinary meetings when there are important matters involving the welfare of the membership.
Board of Presidents:
All former Presidents of the Chamber meet as a group to advise the Board of Directors on matters related to industry and mediate problems arising within the membership.
The Executive Director provides the liaison between the Board of Directors and the membership. She is in charge of the administrative functions of the Chamber and is responsible for establishing links between the members and other local and international entities and organizations.
